The Sweater was knitted in a dying breed of knitting factory in the region, committed to maintaining a highly skilled team to operate their ‘hand frame’ manual knitting machines. Being the only players in the region who still use these labor-intensive machines, their technicians naturally have 15-20 years of experience under their belts. Unlike automatic machines, hand-frame machines take up to 12 months of training to be able to operate to their high standards.
